We had a great time and turn out for our annual Craft & Bake Sale. There was a variety of thoughtful handmade crafts including jewelry, cards, table runners, placemats, artwork, candle holders and more! Many people from the community stopped in to grab the perfect holiday gift.
So Many Goodies
Of course, there was an abundance of scrumptious baked goods like breads, cakes, cookies, and pies. It was a terrific way to get a jump on the autumn season in Florida. Not to mention ideas for for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Much time and love were put into these delectables and we are certainly grateful for that.
We even had local authors Francine Coleman Larson and Raymond E. Hall on site promoting and signing their recent books. Palm Harbor Paean is a “A tribute to the people and the value system by which they lived that influenced the lives of the authors during their 1950’s growing up years in the small Florida West Coast community of Palm Harbor.” They also had their other book book Crystal Beach on-hand, as well.
All in all is was a great day and money raised was put towards our Crystal Beach Community Church building maintenance fund. A big thanks to all who participated and especially those who purchased from our Craft & Bake Sale!
